DIY: Fresh Fruit Popsicles Without Sweeteners


Summer is arriving and the temperature is heating up. What better than homemade fruit popsicles for a refresher? This DIY recipe is really easy, low budget and best of all: healthy! You only need some fresh fruit, plastic drinkcups and a fridge of course.

What do you exactly need:

  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 Apple
  • 2 Oranges
  • 2 Plastic Cups
  • 2 Plastic Sticks


How to do this:

  • Slice fresh fruit of your choice (I picked banana, apple and oranges) in little pieces. They have to fit into plastic cups. You can also pick other fruits. Make sure the base of the popsicles exists of some fruity liquid. I used freshly squeezed orange juice.
  • Pour the liquid into the plastic cups, half way.
  • Place the fruit into the juice. Don’t worry about them sticking onto the bottom of the cups. Because of the liquid the fruit will keep floating.
  • Place the plastic sticks in the middle of the cups. Then place the cups into the fridge for about hours.


Tadaaa! Your own homemade popsicles with frozen fruit. My boyfriend tried them and his first reaction was: ‘So fresh! Pure, healthy and super sweet’. Enjoy! Would you make these ones? And what fruit would you pick for the popsicles?
